Personal Testimony

Being raised in a Christian home I attended church all my life. Although I am grateful for this rich heritage of faith, I realized early in life that having a relationship with Christ is not just a family or communal experience. I knew that I needed a personal relationship with Him. As a young teen I made a personal decision to follow Christ.  From that point to the present my life has been blessed as I continue to learn more and more how to follow Christ.

I was born and raised in Lowell Michigan,I am married and have two children I spent a portion of my life going after what our culture said was success. I now spend my days loving my family and others as a Christ follower.

I now have a wife and two kids, my life was rescued when my family and I were Encountered at Impact Church in Lowell. Following God and discovering his purpose for our life has sent us here to Belding to plant Encounter: A Community Church, to help others encounter their purpose by loving God, loving others in communities that reproduce other God loving communities. I believe the local church is the hope of the world. Churches as they were meant to be, culturally relevant and biblically based.
